Melissa is dedicated to decreasing the stigma that surrounds mental health issues. She has been battling Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder since the age of five and is determined to share her story around the world in order to offer hope for a "better day!" She is also pursuing a career in acting, keynote speaking, and hosting.

Melissa's previous work: Keynote Speaker at the film fundraiser for "Power of Purpose" in Cotuit, MA. She will be playing Betty, the hairdresser in the film next fall. Melissa recently played Mark Wahlberg's science student in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening." She has also spoken this year in Denver, CO, New York, NY, Chester and Delaware County, PA, and Philadelphia, PA. Melissa is currently working on a documentary film following her OCD, writing her first memoir, and working on a mental health school program (Mental Health- A RIDDLE) at The COAD Group of Chester County, with whom she does speaking engagements and where her advocacy work mostly began just two years ago.
